Find Your Artistic Voice

Art Seen in New York City: Bo Bartlett at Miles McEnery Gallery

I really love the way Bo Bartlett uses warms and cools in his flesh tones as well as extremely transparent shadows. In this series he was working on a pink ground, so he painted the entire canvas pink before beginning, and he left the pink of the edges showing at the sides which I loved!

This body of work is exploring the theme of transitions, those moments when we are on the brink of a big change in our lives, and are no longer what we used to be but are not yet what we are becoming. Such a powerful show!

By the way this Tuesday, Nov. 21  I’m offering a FREE Mouth Painting Webinar!  To sign up click HERE.
